$KESTREL is the premium access key of Kestrel Browser. Hold a qualifying balance in your Kestrel Browser wallet and the app recognises your tier. Premium features ship in order after launch and are marked live on this page the day they do. Nothing to send, nothing to stake, nothing to connect. Shield and every safety feature stay free for everyone, always.
The official address
Verify it in two places that must agree: this page and the pinned post on x.com/kestrelbrowser. If they differ, stop. We never DM. Anything else is a clone. A third place, the verified list inside Kestrel Browser, is added here the day the early access build ships.
What the token is not
Not equity, not a share of revenue, not a promise of anything by anyone. Not required for safety: Shield, transaction simulation, domain blocking and Hover checks never ask for it. Not something you send anywhere to unlock a feature; anyone asking for a transfer is a scammer.

Treasury
No treasury wallet exists yet. When it does, its address appears here first. Planned rules, final once the address is published: funded by the venue's creator fees; spent on development, Shield infrastructure and rewards for Shield reporters; never on market making and never on paid promotion of the token; movements visible on chain, large ones announced before they happen.

Thresholds: published here the day the signed registry ships. Until then no tier above Free can be reached and nothing is unlocked.
"Planned" means not built yet. Features ship in the order above and their status changes on this page the day they ship, with a dated line under Changes. No dates are promised. Holding before a feature ships gives you the tier and the live rows, nothing else; we say so here so nobody holds on a promise.
How verification works: the list of recognised tokens and thresholds is published at kestrelbrowser.com/registry.json, signed with the Kestrel registry key and verified inside the app; a list that does not verify is ignored and the app stays on Free. The app reads the balance of the wallet inside Kestrel Browser every ten minutes and at start. No transaction, no signature. Offline for less than 72 hours keeps your tier. A tier is kept while the balance stays within ten percent below its threshold, so a small move does not flip your access; below that floor the tier changes at the next read, with the floor and the reason shown inside the app, never a silent lock. Thresholds may change; changes are announced on this page first and take effect no earlier than seven days after the announcement.
Fees and the token
Fee-tier discounts for holders are planned as part of Premium (see the table) and need the fee wallet and the fee rate first. No share of Kestrel Browser fees goes to the token, and no buy-back or burn is in place. If that ever changes it appears here before it ships.
The second network
A second Kestrel token on another network will open the same tiers. It is not live. When it is, its address appears here first, then in the pinned post and in the verified list.

Fake tokens, fake groups, fake support accounts: tell the Telegram group or write to hello@kestrelbrowser.com with a link. We never DM you back; we answer in public.
