Short and plain, because there is little to hide. This is a first version written before a legal review; it will be revised before the public release and the revision will be dated below.
Early access software
Kestrel Browser is early access software offered as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. It may contain errors, change without notice or stop working. Use test amounts you can afford to lose until you trust it.
Non-custodial by design
You create and hold your own keys. We never have them and cannot recover them, reverse a transaction or unfreeze anything. A recovery phrase written on paper is the only backup; whoever holds it controls the wallet.
Not financial advice
Nothing on this site, in the app or in our channels is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Scores, checks and simulations are best effort readings of public data and can be wrong. Decisions and their outcomes are yours.
The token
$KESTREL is an access key for premium features of the browser. We never promise a price, a return or a listing, and we never talk price in official channels. Anyone doing so in our name is not us. The only official contract address is published on this site, pinned on X and verified inside the app.
Third-party services
The app connects to public blockchain nodes and data services listed on the privacy page. They have their own terms and availability. We are not responsible for their data or downtime.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site or the app to break the law, to attack other people or services, or to abuse the mailing list and its API. We may block abusive traffic.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the makers of Kestrel Browser are not liable for any loss, including lost funds, arising from the use of the software, the site or the information on them.
